And in the depths of winter I suddenly discovered that there is an invincible summer.
Albert Camus

Description

The Poet Mouse tells the story of a mouse family preparing for winter. They store supplies of nuts, grains, and straw. Only one mouse seems not to be helping but instead collects sunshine, colors, and words from dreams and hope. When the reserves are depleted, only the Poet Mouse can help. He now distributes his provisions and reveals himself to be a little artist. With his words and images, he brings warmth and coziness. Priceless – but he worked for it.

Choreographers and dancers Lilian Mosquera and Gesa Volland, together with musician Matthias Ehrig, collaborate to create an enchanting fable about things that are important in life and share the small joys on a gray day. Join them when the Poet Mouse lets the sun shine into the rooms.

For us, dancing means encountering, moving, and sensing. What science has long known, we put into practice: Dancing is smart – it stimulates many different levels in the brain, creating new neural connections.
